Job description
Power Platform Specialist - Logistics

£35,000 - £45,000 plus benefits (Work Level 6A)

You can be based anywhere in the UK. This is a hybrid role with regular travel to our depots across the UK and our support centre in Manchester (approx. 10–20% of your time).

We’re looking for a Power Platform Specialist to join our Logistics Support Centre (LSC) team. This role bridges the gap between depot operations and our Technology teams, ensuring that our logistics systems and digital tools remain reliable, effective, and continuously improving.

About the role

You’ll combine technical understanding with operational know-how, supporting core systems and leading the development of smart, light‑touch applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Your work will simplify processes, reduce manual effort, and empower depot teams.

Why this role matters

The Logistics Support Centre is central to how we help depots perform at their best. As part of the Operations Product team, you’ll support the digital backbone of our logistics operation from Manhattan Active to custom Power Apps solutions. You’ll be key to keeping our systems running smoothly, improving the colleague experience, and driving innovation that makes daily operations easier and more efficient.

What you’ll do
  • Be our domain expert for Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and related tools)
  • Develop apps using Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑driven) and build automated workflows with Power Platform
  • Create dashboards and reports (Power BI) that deliver operational insights and reduce manual effort
  • Integrate tools with Dataverse, SharePoint, and external systems to streamline processes
  • Collaborate with our depot and Technology teams to spot opportunities and deliver improvements
  • Deliver training, guidance, and documentation to help colleagues use tools confidently
  • Support product releases and prioritise enhancements based on data and user feedback
What you’ll bring
  • Hands‑on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Microsoft 365 suite
  • The ability to translate operational needs into digital solutions that make work easier and more efficient
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills; you’re able to engage confidently with both technical and non‑technical colleagues
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to be proactive and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Knowledge or experience of Manhattan Active WMS or similar logistics systems would be an advantage but not essential.
  • A genuine interest in using technology to improve operations and support our depot network
Why Co‑op?
  • An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
  • 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
  • A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
  • Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
  • 30% discount on Co‑op products and 10% off other brands
  • Stream – early access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
  • Virtual healthcare including GP appointments, mental health support, nutrition and fitness advice
  • 24/7 colleague support service
  • Training and support for your development and career progression
  • Cycle‑to‑work scheme
