Job summary

Roc Search is seeking an Applications Developer to design, develop and support business-critical applications across a varied tech stack. You will collaborate with developers, technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions.

Role involves building web apps, APIs and databases, implementing CI/CD and exploring cloud/AI technologies. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server and database development.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with Azure, including App Services, Functions and Azure SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online and its integration with business applications.
• Interest or experience in Azure AI services and AI-enabled application development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience supporting applications throughout their full lifecycle, from development through to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain business applications and integrations.
• Develop new solutions using Microsoft technologies and modern development practices.
• Build automated workflows and business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Develop and support web applications, APIs and database solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Support application releases, upgrades, bug fixes and production deployments.
• Contribute to CI/CD, testing, version control and development best practices.
• Explore and adopt relevant cloud and AI technologies.
• Produce clear technical documentation and collaborate across the wider IT function.
