Our client is looking for a commercially astute Power Market Software Analyst to join the short-term energy markets practice. This is an exciting opportunity to code on market-leading software and become an expert in GB and European power markets.

Responsibilities
  • Join the short-term energy markets practice as a Power Market Software Analyst.
  • Code on market-leading software and become an expert in GB and European power markets.
  • Work with data and calculations and contribute to tool development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and develop relationships with industry contacts and clients.
Qualifications
  • Relevant BSc, MSc or PhD qualification.
  • Solid experience in energy sector (e.g., working with energy companies, technology manufacturers, policy makers, start-ups or industry associations).
  • Robust background in working with data and calculations.
  • Solid coding knowledge in C#, Python or another similar language.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
