Job summary

People In Power, a boutique engineering recruitment business, is seeking a Site Supervisor to join the Pre-Construction team. You’ll oversee day-to-day site activities on utility and power projects, ensuring work is safe, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Working with project managers, engineers and on-site teams, you’ll coordinate labour, plant and materials, lead toolbox talks, manage RAMS and permits, and maintain site records while building strong relationships with clients

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Supervisor, General Foreman or Site Manager.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Experience managing permits, RAMS, NRSWA and safe systems of work.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop site teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple activities on site.
• Proactive approach to solving problems and keeping projects moving.
• Experience in customer-facing environments with strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations across utility and power projects.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and equipment.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to quality standards.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety communications.
• Ensure RAMS are understood and followed.
• Monitor quality and site standards.
• Maintain permits, documentation and site records.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Resolve site issues and support project delivery.
• Build strong relationships with clients and authorities.
• Manage labour returns, timesheets and site reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in site operations.
