Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Power Generation Foreman to lead a busy engineering team in the power generation sector. The role focuses on managing generator PDI, overseeing workshops, ensuring service and readiness for hire.

You'll supervise generator, cable and equipment stock, support engineers with technical issues, and participate in site installations and on-call rota. Monday to Friday, with a £45,000-£48,000 salary plus signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in generators, plant or diesel engines.
• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage Generator PDI, Electrical PDI and Workshop Engineers
• Oversee daily workshop and engineering operations
• Ensure generators are serviced, repaired and ready for hire
• Manage PDI processes and equipment stock
• Maintain Health & Safety standards
• Manage generator, cable and equipment stock
• Support engineers with technical issues
• Attend site installations, surveys and breakdowns when required
• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
