KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions Ltd has a hands-on Electronics Technician role in their R&D Test and Design group in the UK. You’ll assemble test setups, bench-test power electronics, and modify hardware with soldering and tools while collaborating with hardware, firmware and software teams.

The role offers growth into a product technical expert or electronics design engineer, with potential travel to customer sites worldwide as the role develops. Based full-time at their Arundel headquarters.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electronics experience with power electronics hardware.
• Familiar with soldering and using hand tools.
• Willing to travel to customer sites as the role develops.
• Able to discuss firmware and software with the R&D team.
• Motivated to grow into a design or technical expert role.

Responsabilités

• Assembling equipment and prototypes for test.
• Carrying out continuous, hands-on testing of power electronics products.
• Using hand tools and a soldering iron to build, repair and modify hardware.
• Suggesting and making design improvements based on test results.
• Using a wide range of test instruments with confidence.
• Working closely with hardware, firmware and software colleagues across the R&D team.
