Job summary

Redline Group Ltd in London seeks a Power Electronics Design Engineer to join its multi-skilled R&D team. You will design analogue power electronics and drive projects from concept through to production.

The role requires a degree in Electronic Engineering, extensive experience with SMPS, AC/DC and DC/DC converters, and familiarity with highly regulated sectors such as Rail, Energy or Transport. You will provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in analogue power electronics design.
• Experience designing SMPS, AC/DC and DC/DC converter systems.
• Experience in Rail, Energy, Transport or other regulated industrial sectors.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor engineers.

The successful candidate for the London based Power Electronics Design Engineer job will:

• Be degree educated in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Have significant experience in the design and development of analogue power electronics.
• Have proven experience designing SMPS, AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems.
• Have experience working within the Rail, Energy, Transport or other highly regulated industrial sectors.
• Be capable of providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and driving complex power electronics projects from concept through to production.
