Job summary

A global Energy Trading company is seeking a PowerBI + Databricks Engineer. The role focuses on the design and development of applications and infrastructure, acting as a Subject Matter Expert. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in Microsoft Power BI and SQL, with a hands-on ability to lead projects. Strong communication skills are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work on a Greenfield project, with further details disclosed during the interview process.

Qualifications

About The Role

An exciting opportunity for a PowerBI + Databricks Engineer to join this global Energy Trading company.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Works independently, determines own priorities and provides functional / technical support to experienced colleagues.
• Focus is on functional design and development of moderately complex applications and infrastructure.
• Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) within projects concerning multiple IT systems / domains.
• Identifies and advises on opportunities for improvements and on optimal use of applications and Infrastructure.
• This is a Greenfield project the company cannot release any info on the detail of work/project scope until interview stage.
