Job summary

Caring For Thurrock, Thurrock Council’s internal care provider, seeks a Power Apps Developer to support the rostering system within Adult Social Care. You will deliver enhancements to the Power Platform, automate processes and work with the Council’s IT team to improve scheduling efficiency.

The role focuses on implementing longer-term improvements, meeting deadlines, and ensuring security and data governance standards are maintained. Local authority experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing Power Apps / Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with Power Automate and business process automation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 data governance, security and GDPR.

Contract: 12 months

About the Role

Caring For Thurrock, Thurrock Council’s internal care provider, is looking for an experienced Power Apps Developer to support the development and improvement of its Adult Social Care rostering system.

You will work exclusively on this project, working closely with the Caring For Thurrock Business Team and the Council’s IT department. The focus will be on completing and enhancing the existing Power Platform solution, automating processes, improving scheduling efficiency and delivering operational and financial benefits.
