Powder Coating Supervisor Cardiff | £31,470 per annum + overtime | Full-time, permanent

The Role

Our client, a well-established metal coatings company in Cardiff, is looking for a hands-on Powder Coating Supervisor to lead a busy production team. This is a key role overseeing daily powder coating operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and supporting a team of operatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily powder coating and inspection processes
• Allocate work, monitor output, and lead by example
• Enforce safety, PPE, and housekeeping standards
• Work closely with the department manager to plan workloads

What Theyre Looking For

• Experience in manual powder coating, ideally in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of quality and health & safety practices
• Overhead crane/forklift experience is desirable
• Ability to lead, organise, and motivate a team
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Also Considered

Supervisors or team leaders from related trades (e.g. wet paint, fabrication) with a practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
