Job summary

Proactive Global is hiring an experienced Powder Coater in Slough to join our production team. The role is a temporary position with a view to permanent, offering standard shifts and an hourly pay rate.

The successful candidate will prepare, coat, and finish components using powder coating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications in a small workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in powder coating within a manufacturing or finishing environment.
• Good understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques.
• Ability to achieve consistent, high-quality finishes on a variety of components.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for coating, including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment.
• Apply powder coating using manual spray equipment.
• Ensure even coverage, correct thickness, and high-quality finish.
• Operate curing ovens and monitor temperature and cycle times.
• Inspect finished products for defects such as runs, thin coverage, or contamination.
• Carry out rework and touch-ups where required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the spray booth and work area are clean and organised.
• Follow all health & safety procedures, including safe handling of powders and equipment.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and standards.

Role: temp to perm

Hours: Standard Shift

Pay Rate: £15 - £16 holiday accrued

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our production team, specialising in high-quality small volume finished products. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing components to a consistently high standard, ensuring durability, appearance, and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare metal components for coating, including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment
• Apply powder coating using manual spray equipment
• Ensure even coverage, correct thickness, and high-quality finish

Desirable Skills & Experience
