Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest is seeking a part-time Pottery Assistant to help guests paint and enjoy ceramic sessions with a welcoming, supportive team. You will guide participants, maintain studio standards, and support glazing and completion of artworks in a busy studio environment.

The role requires a friendly, proactive approach, strong communication, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with guests and colleagues.
• A cheerful, proactive disposition is preferred.

Pottery Assistant Whinfell Forest | £12.87 per hour

Help guests paint, unwind and shine

Join our vibrant Pottery Studio team, delivering creative ceramic painting sessions for adults and children. You'll provide expert guidance, ensure a safe and welcoming environment and deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds guest expectations.

• Manage glazing processes and meet agreed timescales for finished pieces
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and studio tidiness at all times
• Guide and support guests during ceramic painting activities

Your working hours

• Part-time contract, shifts fall between 8:00am to 10:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of128 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
