Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking an exceptional Project Manager (Contract) to support UK & Europe operations in the fast-evolving AV, EV and fleet sectors.

You will lead diverse projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and report to senior leadership across Operations, HR, Finance and Legal. This six to twelve month contract offers £450-£500 per day inside IR35, with travel across the UK and Europe and the potential to convert to a permanent role.

We're looking for an exceptional Project Manager to work directly with the General Manager, UK & Europe, supporting client growth, operational development and business change across a fast-moving and rapidly evolving sector.

This is not a traditional project management role.

We're looking for a commercially minded and generalist Project Manager who can apply their skills across a wide range of projects, programmes and business initiatives. One week you may be leading a systems implementation, the next supporting a client proposal, developing new operational processes, supporting the launch of a new site, driving a people initiative, or coordinating a cross-functional business project.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in helping shape and support Amerit's continued growth across the UK and Europe.

You will be responsible for leading projects and workstreams across multiple business functions, ensuring initiatives are delivered effectively, efficiently and at pace.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly organised, adaptable and commercially aware Project Manager with the ability to quickly understand new challenges and lead projects across a broad range of disciplines.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience leading complex projects and programmes from initiation through delivery.
• Strong project planning, coordination and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.

Desirable Experience

• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
• Agile certification or Agile delivery experience.
• Experience within automotive, fleet, mobility, technology, EV or AV sectors.
• Exposure to operational start-ups, mobilisation projects or high-growth businesses.
• Experience with systems implementations, change management or business transformation projects.
