Job summary

The University of Oxford’s Oxford Centre for Emerging Minds Research (OxCEMR) seeks a Part-time Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to an MRC-funded feasibility randomised controlled trial (RCT) aimed at increasing access to CBT for preadolescent children with OCD.

Based within Psychiatry and Experimental Psychology at Life and Mind Building, this role combines leadership with trial coordination, NHS site engagement and data collection.

Qualifications

• Near-complete PhD/DPhil in psychology, psychiatry, clinical science, or related field.
• Experience with children and families in clinical or research settings.
• Experience liaising with NHS sites and navigating ethics processes.
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate complex research projects, especially RCTs.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the RCT.
• Coordinate NHS site engagement and data collection.
• Oversee amendments to research ethics approvals.
• Support high-quality data analysis and dissemination.
• Contribute to publications and proposals.
