You will lead the theoretical and computational work within the UNICIL consortium, collaborating with experimentalists to explore how cellular architecture shapes beating patterns and fluid transport across scales.

Qualifications

• Strong background in applied mathematics, theoretical or biological physics.
• Experience with dynamical systems, fluid dynamics and scientific programming.
• Experience in numerical modelling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the theoretical and computational strand of the UNICIL programme at Exeter.
• Develop multiscale models of cilia coordination and test predictions with experimental data.
• Collaborate with consortium partners and experimental groups to link models to biology.
