Postdoctoral Research Associate in Solid-State Batteries

About this role

This is an opportunity to carry out world-leading research on solid-state batteries.

Supervised by Prof. Sir Peter Bruce FRS, you will contribute to cutting-edge science that will help overcome the barriers to the commercialisation of solid-state batteries based in the group’s recently refurbished state-of-the-art laboratories.

You will have access to world-leading facilities and collaborate with leading academics.

About You

We are looking to recruit an outstanding scientist with expertise in solid-state batteries.

You will be self-motivated with a passion for energy storage research and a desire to take this technology to the next level.

The role requires a PhD/DPhil in a relevant subject.

You will have expertise in one or preferably more of the following: Materials Chemistry, Electrochemistry and Characterisation.

About the Project

As part of the Faraday Institution’s SOLBAT project, we aim to break down the barriers that are preventing the progression to market of solid-state batteries.
