Heriot-Watt University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Computational Quantum Matter. The role focuses on generating data for low-dimensional correlated quantum systems using SyTen and ALF, in close collaboration with the PI.
The position is a full-time fixed-term contract for eight months at Grade 7 (£38,448–£48,337 per annum). You will disseminate research, map superconducting systems, and contribute to outreach and funding activities within the division.

Detailed Description
The Research Associate working in this post will have the task of generating data for systems of low-dimensional correlated quantum matter, both in equilibrium as well as outside of it, in particular for systems with superconducting properties, using both the Symmetric Tensor (SyTen) as well as the Algorithms for Lattice Fermions (ALF) software packages, as specified by the PI.
