A prestigious university in the UK is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Chemistry to conduct research in protein expression and HDX mass spectrometry. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Chemistry and possess experience in biological mass spectrometry methods and molecular and cell biology. Responsibilities include managing academic research and small-scale project management. The position is based in Oxford and starts on 5 January 2026.
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Chemistry to work under the supervision of Professor Justin Benesch for a period of 12 months. Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a relevant subject area (or be close to completion) prior to taking up the appointment. The research requires experience in biological mass spectrometry methods, including HDX MS, and substantial molecular and cell biology experience. You will be expected to manage your own academic research and administrative activities. This involves small scale project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.
