The University of Sussex invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Psychology to study the neural basis of misophonia. This full-time role runs from January 2027 to 30 September 2028 and focuses on how brain processes acoustic and semantic sound properties, comparing individuals with and without misophonia using EEG and advanced neuroimaging methods.

You will hold a PhD in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, audiology or related field, have experience with EEG data

Qualifications

• PhD in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, audiology or related field.
• Experience with EEG data acquisition and analysis.
• Strong interest in neural mechanisms underlying perceptual experience.
