Job summary

Corehr invites five outstanding postdoctoral research associates to join a world‑leading materials discovery group in the UK. The role focuses on the synthesis and characterisation of new inorganic, hybrid and core‑shell materials with applications in electromagnetic shielding, in collaboration with a major industrial partner.

You will work across chemistry, physics and computer science within a highly interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, physics, or materials science or nearing completion.
• Experience in synthesis and characterisation of inorganic or hybrid materials.
• Experience with electromagnetic shielding materials is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in discovery of new inorganic materials.
• Lead synthesis and characterisation experiments.
• Publish findings and present to industrial partners.
• Engage across disciplines (chemistry, physics, computer science) to advance project goals.
