Job summary

The University of Manchester seeks an experienced postdoctoral research associate to lead an ongoing clinical study exploring the immunological basis of sleep disorders. Based in the Quintana Lab, you will drive translational research while maintaining strong basic neuroscience immunology expertise.

Collaborating with NHS partners and industrial collaborators, you will draft publications, prepare grant bids, and contribute to a dynamic, inclusive research community that values curiosity and

Qualifications

Hold a PhD in immunology (or related fields).
Extensive experience with B cell biology demonstrated by first-author publications.
Industrial experience in Biosciences and/or industrial R&D is desirable.
Up-to-date knowledge in immunoparasitology and in vivo infection models.
Proven ability to lead projects and teams, with publications or deliverables in industry.

Responsibilities

Conduct original research on the immunological basis of sleep disorders.
Identify and develop techniques and apparatus for data collection and analysis.
Draft and submit publications to refereed journals.
