• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate mechanisms underlying neural development and function in Drosophila.
• Apply molecular biology, transcriptomics, neurogenetics, optogenetics, imaging, neurophysiology and quantitative behavioural approaches.
• Collaborate with the Alonso lab and UK/international collaborators to advance mechanistic understanding.
