The role involves genome engineering at scale and designing scalable measurement strategies, leveraging automation within the institute.

You will work under senior leadership and collaborate across AI, synthetic biology, and engineering teams to advance ambitious research goals.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with strong research track record.
• Experience delivering ambitious projects to high standards.
• Strong background in molecular biology or synthetic biology and related fields.
• Experience publishing in high‑impact journals and presentations at international conferences.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments including genome engineering at scale.
• Collaborate with AI scientists, automation, bioinformatics, and machine learning teams.
• Analyse complex datasets using computational tools and interpret results.
• Mentor junior researchers and support students.
• Publish high‑quality papers, reports and protocols.
