University Of Oxford seeks a researcher holding a PhD/DPhil or near completion in a relevant discipline, with strong quantitative and statistical skills, programming experience, and knowledge of complex systems science and forecasting techniques.

The successful candidate will join INET's Complexity Economics group and an Oxford Martin Fellow, contributing to forecasting developments in clean technologies and AI.

Qualifications

PhD/DPhil in a relevant discipline or near completion.
Strong quantitative and statistical skills with programming experience.
Knowledge of complex systems science and/or advanced forecasting techniques.
Understanding of the economics of innovation, net zero tech, and AI.
Experience with large language models.
Publications in leading journals; excellent communication and research management.
