Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for a reliable, customer-focused Postal Delivery Driver to join the local delivery team in the United Kingdom. You’ll be outdoors, delivering letters and parcels and becoming a familiar face in your community.

This seasonal role runs until Christmas Eve (potential extension), minimum 20 hours per week, with shifts 07:30–15:30 and a pay rate of £18.20 per hour (holiday pay included). A full UK manual driving licence is required and you should enjoy working independently.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (with no more than 6 penalty points and held for at least 12 months)
• Physically fit and happy to walk outdoor routes in all kinds of British weather.
• Great customer service skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
• No Criminal Record.

Responsibilities

• Sort and prepare mail and parcels in the delivery office for your route.
• Deliver letters and parcels on foot and/or using a Royal Mail vehicle.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to local homes and businesses.
• Work independently while managing your time effectively outdoors.
