Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join us as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. As a Post Person with Driving, you'll deliver letters and parcels around your community, acting as the face of Royal Mail in all weathers.

Shifts vary and include Day, Dawn, Evening, Night, with hourly rates stated. There is potential for the role to become permanent, making this a meaningful opportunity for community service.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels around your route, with some parts on foot.
• Securely deliver all items, including handling election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
