Job summary

Pertemps Bond, supporting Royal Mail in Rugby, is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers. The role is temporary, starts immediately, and offers a 30-hour week with Monday to Friday and weekend availability.

You will walk and drive to deliver letters and parcels, use a handheld device for signatures, load deliveries at the local office, and handle bags up to 20kg in all weather.

Qualifications

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max; clean licence preferred) and held for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Requirements

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
