Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting Postal Delivery Drivers in Newcastle upon Tyne to support Royal Mail on a temporary basis. Pay is £13.69 per hour, with 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus weekend availability, and shifts between 8am and 8pm.

Duties begin at the local delivery office, sorting and loading mail, then using a handheld device for navigation and signature capture. Deliveries are made on foot or by vehicle, covering up to eight miles daily.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Held licence for at least 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

Responsibilities
