Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Hereford is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver to support Royal Mail. The role is temporary/ongoing, starting immediately, with shifts from 8am to 3pm, up to 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday with weekend availability.

You will start at the local delivery office, use a handheld device for signatures, deliver letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, and lift bags up to 20 kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
