12-month FTC

Joining Sainsbury's as the Post Production Manager for Argos offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of a new post-production arm dedicated to transforming high-quality content for diverse channels such as E-commerce, Marcom, PR, and Social. Collaborating closely with in-house studios and creative teams, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and delivering assets. With a focus on automation, AI, CGI integration, and operational excellence, this role provides a platform to drive innovation, mentor teams, and shape the future of post-production workflows in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

What you'll do

As the Post Production Manager at Argos, you will lead the new post-production arm to edit and transform high-quality content for E-commerce, Marcom, PR, and Social channels, in collaboration with in-house Studios, production, and creative teams. Your role entails ensuring content, retouching, and edit guidelines align with brand objectives, meeting KPIs, SLAs, and operational targets. With a keen eye for detail and expertise in creative retouching and edit techniques, you will drive automation initiatives, onboard new AI and CGI suppliers, lead post-production strategy, mentor team members, develop business cases for new partnerships, and implement workflows leveraging AI and CGI technologies. Your success will be measured by successful supplier integration, team adoption, metrics tracking, early wins delivery, and streamlined post-production workflows, making a significant impact on content creation and delivery processes.

Your ability to innovate, communicate effectively, and foster collaboration across technical and creative teams positions you to drive impactful change, optimise operational processes, and ensure the successful integration of new technologies to enhance Argos’s brand objectives and meet operational targets.

Experience in post-production operations and asset management workflows – you'll be the go-to expert across retouching, editing, CGI and delivery.

Demonstrable project management skills, including planning, reporting and coordinating teams to deliver at pace.

Previous experience in a creative agency or in-house studio environment with experience of how content flows end to end.

Working knowledge of Adobe Workfront and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.

Experience onboarding and managing large suppliers, ideally across AI, CGI, retouching or editing.

Hands-on experience using or implementing automated production tools or systems.

Leadership and mentoring experience, supporting Editors, Retouchers and Post-Producers.
