Overview

Moonbug Entertainment is an award-winning global entertainment company inspiring kids to laugh, learn and grow. Moonbug is behind brands such as CoComelon and Blippi, with content available on more than 150 video platforms globally (including Netflix, Disney, BBC iPlayer and YouTube Kids). Moonbug leads in preschool music and audio experiences across 100 platforms. Moonbug is part of Candle Media, a creator-friendly home for high-quality brands and franchises.

The Role

Based in the Production Operations team, part of the Studios Department, this role involves working across various animation and live-action video pipelines. The team coordinates the final post-production, asset, and metadata delivery of Moonbug content to the Master Catalogue, ready for onward distribution. Content is produced in live action and animation, internally and externally, by Moonbug alone, in co-productions with streamers like Disney and Netflix, with Brand partners, and with non-Studios teams such as Brand and Gaming. Post production is managed both in-house and with external vendors and teams in London, Los Angeles, and other territories, from series to series. This role will primarily focus on QC-ing and delivering music and music video assets from our Labels team into the Master Catalogue.

Responsibilities
  • Video mastering and exporting for delivery
  • Performing eyeball QC and AQC (automated quality control) on all content streams
  • Coordinate QC fixes with Label, QC, and Post teams
  • Identifying QC issues and advising/escalating for resolution
  • Review and update naming conventions for internal and client deliveries
  • Final mastering and export of music & video content for internal and external use (MP4, MOV, standard Audio assets)
  • Working with different internal stakeholders, QC, and Post teams to fix failed content
  • Coordinate secure media transfers across platforms (LucidLink, Aspera, cloud, local servers)
  • Create, monitor, update, and manage production projects in our internal platform
