A healthcare provider in Southall is seeking an organized and motivated individual to provide administrative support to the postgraduate education department. The candidate will act as a liaison for resident doctors, assisting with their training requirements and administrative tasks. An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Medical Education Department’s Postgraduate team at Ealing Hospital for a substantive role supporting delivery of postgraduate training and teaching programme and provides a great exposure to work with various clinical teams and colleagues across the trust.
We are looking for someone that will be highly motivated, be able to demonstrate a pleasant and professional manner when dealing with people, has excellent communication skills, previous experience with managing data, attention to detail, organisational and forward planning skills, be quick to learn and able to prioritise own workload with minimum of supervision.
The post holder will be responsible for providing organisational and management support to the delivery of resident doctor clinical placements, whilst working closely with Post Graduate administration team, Postgraduate Education Manager and Director of Medical Education and training programme directors. The role holder will act as a key point of contact within the trust for resident doctors and has an essential liaison function between the trust and relevant programme team within NHS England. The post requires a high level of self-directed work, great organisational skills, troubleshooting and the ability to deal sensitively with senior clinical and nonclinical staff.
The post holder will be part of the Medical Education Department’s Postgraduate Education team and reporting to the Postgraduate Education Manager. The post holder’s role will be to provide support to resident doctors, medical education manager, educational leads, and other team members of all aspects of medical education programmes and activities across the trust.
The successful candidate will be a main point of contact for resident doctors assisting with tasks supporting their training provision in the trust, including teaching, portfolio administration and corporate induction, and support of day‑to‑day administrate tasks within the education centre.
