Overview

The post offers experience in all aspects of spinal surgery except paediatric deformity & intradural work.

The Senior Spine Fellow will have the opportunity to be involved in regular day case procedures, out‑patient clinics and in‑patient operating lists.

Responsibilities

The Senior Spine Fellow will be responsible for supervising the regular review of ward patients and the admission of spinal emergencies from surrounding hospitals in collaboration with junior Fellows and Training Registrars.

Ideal Candidate

The post would be ideally suited to an orthopaedic or neurosurgical trainee after the end of their training, with a specialist interest in spinal surgery techniques and complex spinal reconstruction.
