The school provides specialist support for pupils with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs across both the primary and secondary settings. The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly across both phases, supporting pupils according to the needs of the school.

The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs and helping them overcome barriers to learning. Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH, particularly those with attachment and trauma‑related needs, would be highly desirable.

  • Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, resilience and independence

  • Providing appropriate feedback to teachers and the wider school team regarding pupil behaviour, engagement and progress

  • Remaining calm, adaptable and proactive when responding to challenging situations

  • Working full‑time, 8:15am – 3:30pm

  • Can think on their feet and take a proactive approach to supporting pupils
