Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across Brazil.
  • Identify new sales prospects: markets, clients, projects and accreditations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from enquiry to shipment.
  • Maintain relationships through calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Manage and develop underperforming accounts within Brazil.
  • Create daily call plans and meet sales KPIs.
  • Work closely with internal teams for customer service.

The Opportunity

We are hiring for a Portuguese speaking Business Development Executive to join a global manufacturing and export company based in Birmingham. In this exciting role, you will work with clients and distributors from Brazil, driving new business and building long-term commercial partnerships.

Job Responsibilities of the Portuguese speaking Business Development Executive
  • Develop new business opportunities across Brazil
  • Identify new sales prospects : markets, clients, projects and accreditations
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from enquiry and lead generation through to order negotiation and shipment
  • Maintain relationships through regular calls, emails, MS Teams meetings and quarterly international visits or exhibitions
  • Manage and develop underperforming accounts within Brazil
  • Create daily call plans and consistently meet sales KPIs
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service
Candidate Profile
  • Fluency in Portuguese (Brazilian) and English
  • Experience in Business Development, Sales Executive or Account Management
  • Proven B2B sales experience relating to Brazil
  • Ideally educated to Degree / HND level or equivalent
  • Strong negotiation, communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, resilient, tenacious and results-driven
