Job summary

Unilever in Kingston, UK is seeking a Portfolio Strategy Lead for Consumer and Customer Platform IT Sourcing to shape and execute the sourcing strategy across global product domains.

You will partner with GDT product domain VPs and Directors, translate technology strategy into procurement actions, and lead a virtual, diverse global team while delivering savings and KPI targets.

Avg. travel is international, with roughly 5% international and 10-20% local travel as needed to engage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of procurement experience, preferably in IT procurement or related indirect portfolios.
• Strategic sourcing expertise with global or multi-regional portfolio management.
• Expert in negotiation and contracting.
• Knowledge of supply markets, value chains, and FMCG; digital marketing and customer development software knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in strategic supplier relationship management.
• Proven leadership to lead a virtual global team.

Portfolio Strategy Lead - Consumer and Customer Platform IT Sourcing Work Level: 2C Location: Kingston, Sunlight House

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead and Implement procurement sourcing strategy in consumer and customer product domains, in annual spend approx. 100M.
• Partner with respective GDT product domain VPs and Directors, translate the technology strategy to procurement sourcing strategy.
• Leverage internal and external resources, form market insights and build platform sourcing approach and supplier engagement strategy.
• Own and deliver savings, cash and partnership KPIs.
• Collaborate with other Portfolio leads to deliver organizational strategies as one team.
• Lead with care. Manage a lean and diverse team.

Qualification/experience:

• 12+ years of procurement experience, including proven and deep experience preferably in IT procurement, alternatively in related field or indirect procurement portfolios.
• Strategic sourcing, portfolio strategy expertise, with experience in managing complex portfolio/category, at global or multi-regional level
• Expert in negotiation and contracting
• Understanding of supply market, value chain, and FMCG knowledge. Knowledge of digital marketing and customer development software market will be a strong plus.
• Experience in strategic supplier relationship management
• Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities to lead a virtual global team
