Job summary

HFG Insurance Recruitment is seeking a Portfolio Solutions/Delegated Claims Manager in City of London (Hybrid). You will oversee claims portfolios, coordinate with Claims Operations and Vendor Management, and analyse data to drive performance insights and decisions.

The role requires experience across multiple lines of insurance, strong governance awareness, and effective stakeholder communication to support pricing, reserving and servicing strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in overseeing claims portfolios across multiple lines (first-party and third-party)
• Strong ability to analyse claims data, identify trends and communicate insights
• Proven track record of implementing claims oversight frameworks and governance

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage claims portfolios across lead, follow and delegated books, ensuring oversight and reporting.
• Collaborate with Claims Operations and Vendor Management to ensure effective frameworks and data reliability.
• Analyse claims data to understand portfolio performance and highlight areas for intervention.
• Work with Reserving and Underwriting to inform pricing, appetite and reserving strategies.
• Engage with third-party administrators and delegated handlers to assess performance and issues.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and provide clear recommendations on claims matters.
• Coordinate with underwriters to understand business and claims requirements and support arrangements.
