CBC Resourcing Solutions is recruiting a Portfolio Risk Analyst – Asset Finance in Surrey. The role focuses on managing risk approvals for vendor and introducer portfolios, reviewing onboarding requests from Sales, and monitoring vendor programme limits.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of risk and sales within asset finance and the ability to build strong internal relationships with Sales Account/Relationship and Risk Managers to support timely lending decisions.

Our client is a highly respected vendor and equipment finance company who operate across a broad range of assets and due to growth are looking to recruit a Portfolio Risk Analyst.

The successful candidate will manage the Risk approvals for the Vendor and Introducer portfolio, i.e. reviewing requests from Sales to onboard new introducers and increases to vendor programme limits.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Risk and Sales functions within the Asset Finance industry. The ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and work in partnership with Sales Account/Relationship and Risk Managers in the team is critical to the success of this role.

Responsibilities will include;

• Take ownership of the deal/vendor application process, i.e. responsibility for reviewing lending proposals received from Vendors/Sales and ensuring lending proposals to the function are completed thoroughly and in a timely manner (measured by SLAs). This will involve collaborative engagement with the Risk Analysts within the wider team.


• Work with the Sales Managers to ensure sufficient information on the proposal has been provided by the Vendors to meet the agreed minimum standard.


• Coordinate input from other internal departments (Asset Management/Legal/Collections) to ensure proposals are supported by relevant advice.


• Demonstrate high levels of diligence and accuracy in collating the necessary information to support the deal (i.e. exposure data/introducer limits/ adverse information) and ensure Risk conditions/documentation are suggested in line with policy
