  • Supporting outage planning and coordinating investment activities to minimise operational disruption.
  • Analysing large datasets to improve portfolio performance and support decision-making.
  • Producing performance reports, scorecards and governance information for senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitating stakeholder workshops and planning meetings to align priorities and delivery plans.
  • Driving continuous improvement across planning, investment management and portfolio governance processes.
  • Providing subject matter expertise on planning methodologies, resource allocation and portfolio optimisation.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in Portfolio Planning, Project Planning, Programme Planning or Investment Planning.
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex project or programme schedules.
  • Resource planning and capacity management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
  • Experience facilitating planning discussions and influencing delivery decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
Technical Skills

Experience with some of the following would be advantageous:

  • Microsoft Project
  • Excel (advanced)
  • Financial modelling and investment planning tools
Highly Desirable
  • Exposure to large infrastructure, utilities, engineering or regulated environments.
  • Investment planning or capital programme management experience.
  • Understanding of resource optimisation and asset management principles.
  • Experience working within complex operational environments where projects must be coordinated around operational constraints and outages.
Ideal Candidate

You'll be someone who enjoys solving complex planning challenges and can confidently balance multiple priorities across a large project portfolio.

You'll be comfortable interpreting data, challenging assumptions, influencing stakeholders and developing practical delivery plans that align operational needs with long-term strategic objectives.

Most importantly, you'll be proactive, commercially aware and capable of translating complex information into clear plans and actionable recommendations
