Job summary

Core-Asset Consulting is recruiting an experienced Portfolio Manager for its Multi-Asset Investment team in the UK. The role focuses on flagship multi-asset portfolios, contributing to portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment research.

This hybrid role requires 5–7 years front-office experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to present ideas to governance forums. Travel expenses are covered, and the team emphasises collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge constructively.
• CFA Charterholder, CFA candidate or equivalent investment qualification would be advantageous.

Our client, a highly successful and rapidly growing UK investment firm, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join the Multi-Asset Investment team.This role will focus primarily on a flagship range of multi-asset portfolios, which have consistently delivered top-quartile performance.

This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded investment team at a pivotal stage of its evolution, contributing directly to portfolio construction, active asset allocation, investment research and the development of innovative investment solutions.

This position allows for hybrid working and the successful role holder will be expected to spend 3 days in the office in Newcastle.Travel expenses are covered for this role.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• A minimum of 5-7years' front-office investment experience involving active investment decision-making and risk-taking
• Experience within a multi-asset investment environment, or asset-class-specific experience gained within an institutional investment framework, ideally you will have worked in a firm that has a multi-asset track record
• Strong understanding of strategic and tactical asset allocation
