Job summary

MS Amlin is seeking a highly organized Portfolio Delivery Manager to drive a diverse portfolio of business and technology change initiatives. The role is hybrid, based in London, and tied to a fixed-term 6-month contract with two days per week in the office.

You will support the Head of Delivery & Project Governance, remove blockers, coordinate across teams and help ensure initiatives stay on track. A proactive, delivery-focused mindset and strong stakeholder skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the Head of Delivery & Project Governance and drive portfolio objectives.
• Work with Project Managers, Product Owners and Delivery Leads to progress delivery.
• Support resolution of delivery issues, dependencies, risks and resource challenges.
• Act as first point of contact for guidance, support or escalation for Project Managers.
• Coordinate actions across business, technology and third-party teams to maintain momentum.
• Follow up on deliverables, decisions and commitments to keep projects on track.
• Support demand assessments, estimates, planning and onboarding of new changes.
• Prepare project updates, executive summaries and portfolio reporting.
• Identify delivery risks early and ensure appropriate actions.
• Support delivery reviews, health checks and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with PMO to maintain visibility of performance, capacity and priorities.
• Support Product Teams in embedding effective delivery practices and tools.
• Contribute to improvements in delivery processes and ways of working.

About The Role

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive and delivery-focused Portfolio Delivery Manager to help drive the successful execution of a diverse portfolio of business and technology change initiatives.

This role sits within our Change Delivery & Governance function and acts as a key operational partner to the Head of Delivery & Project Governance, providing hands-on support to Project Managers, Product Teams and delivery leads across the portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in keeping projects moving, removing delivery blockers, coordinating activity across teams and ensuring key initiatives remain on track. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the centre of change delivery, helping teams solve problems and enabling successful outcomes.

What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing

• Providing strategic support to the Head of Delivery & Project Governance to execute key initiatives and achieve portfolio objectives.
