Job summary

The CFO Centre is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership on a self-employed basis for mid-market businesses in Kent. You will operate within a defined model while building a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality CFO/FD services.

Your work will focus on commercial finance, business strategy, and long-term client relationships, enabling owners and CEOs to reach their business goals with flexible, part-time cross-functional support.

Qualifications

• Qualified chartered accountant with CFO/FD experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial finance and business strategy.
• Proven ability to build long-lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide CFO/FD services to private businesses (£2–50M).
• Grow and manage a portfolio of client accounts.
• Define and deliver the numbers that really matter for clients.
• Operate as a self-employed professional within a defined model.
