Job summary

J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is seeking a Portfolio Automation Analyst to advance automated portfolio reporting and governance at scale.

You will build KPI-driven packs and dashboards from Jira and Confluence, manage governance artefacts in SharePoint, and support senior governance forums to ensure decisions are captured and actioned. We value a structured, hands-on technologist who can reduce manual effort, improve decision quality, and embed the PDLC across a large, dynamic portfolio.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years’ experience in PMO/portfolio operations or related roles.
• Hands-on coding ability (Python) for automation of reporting/analytics.
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced SharePoint skills for governance and artefact management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated portfolio reporting from Jira and Confluence, normalising data across teams.
• Define and maintain a KPI dictionary and implement automated KPI computation.
• Produce executive-ready weekly portfolio packs highlighting exceptions, risks, milestones and decisions.
• Embed the Product Delivery Lifecycle with evidence tracking and auditable outputs.
• Design and operate SharePoint sites/lists/libraries for governance meetings and artefact cataloguing.
• Support and represent the PMO Manager in senior governance forums; prepare agendas and pre-reads, capture decisions and drive closures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in tools, templates and ways of working.
• Apply AI/automation methods to streamline PMO workflows with validation and controls.
