National Grid is hiring a Portfolio Analyst to join our team in Warwick, with hybrid working. You'll play a key role in supporting portfolio governance, planning, and reporting activities, helping to ensure strategic initiatives remain aligned to business objectives and deliver maximum value across the organisation.
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially aware Portfolio Analyst to join the Data Connect HUB within the Chief Data Office.
The Data Connect HUB supports a portfolio of data, digital, AI, and innovation initiatives that are helping to shape the future of National Grid. In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring portfolio information is accurate, financial activity is controlled, initiatives are effectively mobilised, and key decisions are supported by clear and reliable data.
You’ll combine business analysis, portfolio reporting, and financial tracking responsibilities, working with colleagues across the UK and US to turn complex information from projects, Finance, business teams, and delivery partners into meaningful insights and decision-ready reporting.

As a Portfolio Analyst, you’ll help bring structure, visibility, and control to a diverse portfolio of data, digital, and innovation initiatives. Working across teams in the UK and US, you’ll ensure leaders have the insight and governance needed to make informed decisions and successfully deliver strategic outcomes.

We’re looking for an organised and analytical professional who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and turning data into meaningful insight. You’ll be comfortable working across multiple stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and ensuring decisions are supported by accurate information and robust governance.

It would be advantageous if you have experience within a regulated industry, supporting governance forums, or working with UK and US teams. An understanding of data, digital, innovation, or portfolio management environments would also be beneficial.

Competitive Salary: circa £55,208 - £65,208 per annum (based on capability and experience)
This role is offered on a full‑time basis.
The base location for this role is NG House, Warwick, operating on a hybrid working model.
