What You’ll Do
- Moving equipment, resources, materials, and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Supporting the collection, movement, and delivery of mail across campus.
- Assisting with deliveries of stock and equipment.
- Setting up rooms, furniture and equipment for classes, meetings, and events.
- Helping to prepare spaces and resources for University events and activities.
- Keeping internal and external areas tidy, safe, and welcoming.
- Supporting waste collection and removal.
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at all times.
- Taking ownership of tasks, understanding client needs, and championing Sodexo values.
- Working closely with colleagues to create a positive, high‑performing team.
- Following all Health & Safety and COSHH processes.
- Completing any reasonable ad hoc duties as required.
What You Bring
- Customer‑focused, friendly and able to build strong working relationships.
- A confident communicator who can think on their feet and offer practical solutions.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and proactive when working alone or as part of a team.
- Comfortable monitoring performance and using initiative to improve outcomes.
- Resilient when handling challenging situations.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to support out‑of‑hours emergencies when needed.
- Experience with commercial vehicles, including Luton vans.
- Capable of influencing positive change and contributing to team success.
