A regional health board in Wales is seeking a Porter Driver/Catering Assistant to ensure safe transportation and delivery of food items to various sites. The Post Holder is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation, delivery and collection of frozen food items to various sites both internal and external to the UHB and also the transportation of completed frozen products to and from both units at the Central production Unit (CPU).
Includes delivery and collection to and from hospitals and neighbouring Health Boards/Trusts.
To maintain and promote the highest standards of service delivery and help maintain open and effective communications.
To meet and adhere to all legislative requirements while responsible for the CPU Vehicle.

Welsh speaking and listening skills at Level 3 or above (equivalent to CEFR B2) are desirable but not essential. This requires basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
