Job summary

Dunbia Group in the United Kingdom is seeking motivated individuals to join a leading meat processing company. The role involves supporting yield and efficiency targets, maintaining housekeeping, and ensuring compliance with Quality, Health & Safety policies.

You will move carcasses in a chilled environment, perform meat cutting and trimming with knives, follow SOPs, use PPE correctly, and weigh carcasses to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Supporting the achievement of departmental yield and efficiency targets.
• Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained.
• Ensuring that Quality, Health & Safety and other Company policies are adhered to.
• Moving carcasses around the factory.
• Working in a chilled environment.
• Use of knives or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
• Be aware of and work to departmental SOP’s.
• Proper use and storage of issued PPE (including chainmail and knives etc.)
• Responsible for the intake and weighing in of carcasses and ensuring they meet customer specifications
• Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines.
• Have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be highly motivated.
• Strive for customer satisfaction.
• Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
• Have a keen eye for quality and high attention to detail.
• Will be committed to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
