Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is seeking a Porter (Maintenance) to support theatre and patient movement on an ad hoc, bank basis. You will help push beds, assist the theatre team and ensure equipment is ready for use, while maintaining a calm, friendly presence for patients.

As a Porter at our hospital, you’ll need to be a good communicator, as this role involves helping our patients to feel relaxed and reassured, before and after surgery. It’s also essential that you’re happy to undergo our Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, as part of your application.

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester Gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.
