NRL Group is seeking a Port Operations Supervisor for NZT Redcar to oversee UK port and haulage operations on a major logistics project. This is a site-based, hands-on role requiring a strong background in port operations and abnormal load transport.

You will coordinate berthing, work with port operators and haulage providers, and ensure compliance with HSE and regulatory standards across the site in the North East of England.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in port operations and abnormal load transport.
• Knowledge of UK abnormal load regulations and port planning.
• Familiarity with transport documentation and stevedoring.
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sector preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee UK port operations, post-carriage of shipments, and on-site abnormal loads.
• Prepare and maintain regular transport forecasts.
• Interface between port stakeholders, haulage providers and T&L teams.
• Coordinate berthing plans and vessel loading activities.
• Monitor shipment execution for HSE and standards compliance.
• Supervise MOF and local port operations.
• Ensure berth access for clients, contractors, customs, and surveyors.
• Collaborate to improve transport, customs processes, and communications.
