Sytner Porsche Silverstone in Towcester, Northamptonshire, welcomes a qualified MOT Tester to join a state-of-the-art workshop and test centre for iconic sports cars.

You'll carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards, with light servicing and vehicle maintenance as needed, working independently within a supportive team. The role emphasises quality, safety and customer care, with ongoing training and career development opportunities at a world-class automotive brand.

Qualifications

• Qualified MOT Tester with a Level 3 industry-recognised qualification.
• MOT Testing Licence.
• Experience working in a fast-fit centre, MOT station, independent garage or dealership.
• A positive attitude, excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
• The ability to manage your own workload and work effectively within set timescales.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT testing to DVSA standards and ensure compliance.
• Perform light servicing and vehicle maintenance when required.
• Work independently within established timescales and deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and customer care.
• Operate in a modern, clean workshop with up-to-date equipment.

We’re looking for a qualified MOT Tester who takes pride in doing the job properly, works well independently and understands the importance of quality, safety and customer care. You’ll join a friendly, professional team in a clean, modern workshop where you’ll have everything you need to succeed, including the latest equipment, full PPE and an environment built around colleague wellbeing.

Ideally, you’ll also be happy carrying out light servicing and vehicle maintenance alongside MOT testing, although your primary responsibility will be ensuring every vehicle is tested to the highest standards and in full compliance with DVSA regulations.

What We’re Looking For
